Marquette University High School

Turning a walking tour into an immersive experience.

The recruitment of students and parents is a year-round effort at Marquette University High School (MUHS). A tour of the prestigious campus is the main selling point, so when Covid-19 caused in-person visits to cease, MUHS needed to engage these audiences differently.

The solution was a customized, immersive Marquette University High School virtual tour: the Hilltopper Home Tour. The tour is full of user-immersive digital experiences, including curated video content and stunning 360° images. It provides a seamless welcome to future MUHS students with personalized tours and engaging gamification components, such as a virtual avatar creator and an in-site scavenger hunt that users can complete to redeem MUHS swag. Meanwhile, parents can take their own tours and gain valuable insights into student life, the admissions process, and all of the unique opportunities awaiting their sons as MUHS students.

Results? The tour drove a whopping 44% increase in MUHS website traffic, with over 18,000 views to the Admissions page, resulting in a 9% increase in school applications over the previous year.
